Ad Serving Privacy & Cookie Notice
Last updated: 2026-06-27 (KST) · Effective: 2026-06-26
This Ad Serving Privacy & Cookie Notice explains what the SOUND.RADAR Ad Network ad-serving system, operated by TAEON Branding Agency Pte. Ltd., collects when an advertisement is shown on a publisher site, why, and your choices. It supplements our main Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy; where this Notice is more specific about ad serving, it applies.
1. What Ad Serving Collects
- IP address — used at request time to determine approximate geo (country/region) for targeting and reporting, and for per-IP click throttling as part of invalid-traffic filtering. The IP is not stored long-term in identifiable form; it is processed transiently and reduced to coarse geo and a non-reversible throttling signal.
- User-agent and request metadata — browser/device/referrer signals used for rendering, fraud/bot detection (user-agent blocklist) and aggregate reporting.
- Frequency-cap data — a cookie (see below) records how often a given browser has seen a campaign so we can cap repetition.
- Click signing — when you click an ad, the click URL carries a signature (created with our
ADN_SECRET) that we verify to confirm the click is genuine and billable. We log the validated click event and timestamp. - Conversion measurement — for CPA campaigns, a conversion cookie/token records that a click later led to a defined action (e.g. on a k-pop.at smart link), so the conversion can be attributed and billed.
We do not use ad serving to build cross-site interest profiles or to sell personal data.
2. Cookies Used in Ad Serving
adncap*— frequency cap; remembers how many times a campaign has been shown to this browser to limit repetition; short-lived.adn_conv— CPA conversion; links a prior ad click to a later conversion event for attribution and billing; expires after a defined attribution window.
Signed click URLs and CPA tokens are passed in the request/URL (not necessarily stored as cookies) to validate clicks and conversions.
3. Lawful Basis
3.1. We rely on legitimate interests to serve ads, prevent fraud/invalid traffic and measure delivery (security and billing integrity), and on consent where required by law for non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary fraud-prevention and billing-integrity processing does not rely on consent.
4. Retention
4.1. IP addresses are processed transiently and not retained long-term in identifiable form. Aggregate and event records in adn_stats (impressions, validated clicks, conversions, coarse geo) are retained for reporting, billing, payout and fraud-control purposes for as long as needed, then aggregated or deleted per our Privacy Policy.
5. Your Choices
5.1. You can control or delete cookies in your browser, including adncap* and adn_conv. Blocking them may reduce frequency capping and conversion attribution but does not prevent ads from loading.
5.2. Geo/throttling and click-validation processing are necessary for fraud prevention and billing integrity and are not opt-out, but do not rely on long-term storage of your IP.
6. Relationship to Main Policies
6.1. This Notice is specific to ad serving. For full details on data subject rights, transfers, contacts and our DPO, see the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
