Marketing Communications
Last updated: 2026-06-27 (KST) · Effective: 2026-06-24
This Marketing & Commercial Communications Policy explains how TAEON Branding Agency Pte. Ltd. ("Company", "we") sends marketing and other commercial electronic messages — such as newsletters, release reminders, product news and promotional messages — and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Terms of Service. Where our customers use the Service to message their own fans or contacts, our separate Acceptable Sending Policy also applies.
1. Scope
1.1. This Policy covers commercial electronic messages we send on our own behalf via email, web push or similar channels. It does not change the rules for cookies and tracking pixels, which are governed by our Cookie Policy.
1.2. Service, security, billing, legal and other transactional/operational messages are not marketing and may be sent where necessary regardless of marketing preferences.
2. Consent and Legal Basis
2.1. We send marketing messages only where we have a lawful basis to do so — your prior consent, or another basis permitted by applicable law.
2.2. Where required by law (including for recipients in the Republic of Korea and the EU/EEA), we obtain prior opt-in consent before sending marketing messages, and we keep a record of that consent.
2.3. We do not make any product or service conditional on agreeing to receive marketing, except where the message itself is the service requested (for example, a release reminder you asked for).
3. Identification and Labelling
3.1. Marketing messages identify us as sender and include our contact details and a way to opt out.
3.2. Where the law of the recipient's jurisdiction requires advertising messages to be marked (for example, an advertising indicator in the subject line under Korean law, or a comparable indicator under Singapore law), we apply the required labelling.
4. Opt-Out and Withdrawal of Consent
4.1. Every marketing message contains a clear, free and easy way to unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
4.2. We action opt-out requests within a reasonable period required by applicable law. After you opt out, you may still receive transactional and service messages.
4.3. You can also manage your preferences or contact us at contact@taeon.one.
5. Quiet Hours
5.1. Where the law of the recipient's jurisdiction restricts the sending of advertising messages during night-time hours (for example, the 21:00–08:00 restriction under Korean law, based on the recipient's local time), we do not send such messages during those hours without the separate consent required by that law.
6. Confirmation and Renewal of Consent
6.1. Where applicable law requires periodic confirmation of marketing consent (for example, the periodic re-confirmation required under Korean law), we confirm or refresh consent as required, and treat consent as withdrawn where you do not reconfirm.
7. Channels and Tracking
7.1. Marketing may be delivered by email, web push or other channels you have enabled. Standard message-delivery and engagement metrics may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.2. Cookies, pixels and advertising tags on our pages are governed by the Cookie Policy, including the controls and consent options described there.
8. Messages Sent by Our Customers
8.1. When our customers use the Service to send messages to their own fans, subscribers or contacts, the customer is the sender and the party responsible for consent, labelling, opt-out and applicable law. We act as a service/technology provider. See our Acceptable Sending Policy and Terms of Service.
9. Governing Law
9.1. This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer, privacy or electronic-communications rights available to you under the law of your country of residence, including the Republic of Korea.
